�鶹��ýӳ��

Richard Burman serves as the Faculty and Student Lead for Applied Research at �鶹��ýӳ�� Innovates. He brings a diverse background in education, mechanical engineering, biomechanics, ergonomics, and health. 

After earning a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia, Richard worked as a physiotherapist for over 10 years before returning to school to complete a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at �鶹��ýӳ�� College. He joined �鶹��ýӳ�� Innovates in 2010, focusing on sport innovation, and has since worked as a technical team lead and project manager on a wide range of engineering and applied research projects. 

In 2020, Richard completed his Master’s in Education. In his current role, he creates opportunities for applied learning across the �鶹��ýӳ�� College community. He teaches in capstone courses and designs cross-curricular educational content for students and faculty. Richard uses a human-centered design approach to connect applied research with teaching and learning - helping bring real-world industry experience into the classroom.
